Recipe description:
I followed a standard Victoria sponge with a hint of almond powder in the mix and colourings sliced throughout to get the Union Jack effect
Inspiration:
Not only is a classic battenberg my fave but anything marzipan / almond like too. I wanted to create a classic but challenge myself with the union jack effect:
